A Wasiat is a declaration of a person made during his life time with respect to his property or benefit thereof, to be carried out for the purposes of charity or for any other purposes permissible by Islamic Law, after his death.

Whilst Wasiat-writing may be regarded as a matter of course by some, the choice of an executor is clearly something else that requires careful consideration.

When a person dies without a Wasiat, he is deemed to die intestate and an administrator or administrators must invariably be appointed to administer his estate.

Hibah means gift. In Islam, a gift is a gratuitous transfer of property under specific conditions. When such transfer is made with the intention of obtaining recompense in the hereafter, it is called a sadaqah. 

 A trust is a legal obligation that comes into existence when an individual or other legal entity transfers the legal ownership of his assets to another person or persons to hold not for their benefit but for the benefit of the beneficiaries who can be individuals or otherwise.

Wakaf means an irrevocable dedication, made expressly or by implication, of property or giving it away in charity for purpose of acquiring merit in the eyes of Allah.

Property acquired by husband and wife during the subsistence of a valid marriage, may, under certain circumstances, be considered as "harta sepencarian".

“Pri-Hibah” or Declaration of Hibah is a product of as-Salihin so named to reflect the use of “Hibah” as a mechanism to protect the rights of the children of the Settlor how low so ever. In effect, it is a gift instrument.

Guardianship is the management by an adult of the person and property of either a minor or an insane or disabled adult.
